I have PC100 in my system right now, can I add a PC133?

Typically, faster SDRAM is designed to run at any bus speed slower than it is rated to run.  This is called backward compatibility.

So in general, a PC133 SDRAM DIMM can run at 133MHz, 100MHz, or 66MHz. However, some systems may not accept different module speeds, or may require a BIOS upgrade to fix it. We suggest that you use same speed modules to prevent compatibility issues.
