I have installed eFetcher memory and my system boots up fine but did not detect eFetcher memory
|
Please try following steps, one step at a time to tackle
this issue
- Please
make sure that new module is pushed all the way down in to the socket. If
memory module is defective and is seated properly then your computer will
either beep or will give you an error code. This kind of problem is normally
caused by improperly seated module. Please try again and make sure to push
it all the way down and system power should be off during installation.
- Please
turn off the power to your system and remove eFetcher module and use pencil
eraser to clean memory module gold contacts and make sure that memory socket
is also dust free and reseat the module.
- Please
turn off the power to your system and try installing eFetcher module in a
different socket if more than one socket is available.
- Please
turn off the power to your system and try installing eFetcher module alone in
the system.
- Please
check eFetcher part number and make sure that you have ordered correct module
for you computer.
